WOW, our Moraine Valley Fundraiser Gala was a blast! Therefore, everyone attending this fundraiser in Palos Hills, IL went home happy. Felix can’t wait to perform this fundraiser again!
Moraine Valley Fundraiser Gala IL
Representing our Moraine Valley Business Conference Center Fundraiser Gala were Katrina Nilsen and Michael Sherman. Felix certainly had a great time helping Moraine Valley Community College Foundation raise money. Felix worked with Dan from Raising Paddles on this auction. Our players happily jabbed back and forth with Dan as he auctioned items!
Felix actually played some really fun background songs. In fact, Go Cubs Go was performed as Cubs tickets were auctioned. Raising Paddles is one of the best auctioneers out there!
Felix really enjoyed the setup at Moraine Valley Business Conference Center. The rooms are certainly modern. Oh, and an additional 3,500 square foot connecting pre-function space is actually a beautiful kicker for those larger galas. “Mask-erade” Night Gala Fundraising Dinner and Show
As mentioned above, this evening’s theme was a masquerade gala and everyone participated. Let’s talk about the staff. Can we just say they were amazing? Plenty of help and attention. A security guard even let Katrina and Michael park in the school President’s spot to unload.
There were live auctions, a silent auction, and of course our entertainment! Considering our Moraine Valley Fundraiser Gala was a masquerade, we played a special song. How could Katrina and Michael not perform a song or two from Phantom of The Opera? So appropriate!
Everyone enjoyed a catered meal, followed by a delicious dessert. There were some really fun interactive games throughout our evening also. From there, it was tons of song requests with our performers playing them all. An overflowing tip jar guaranteed Bare Naked Ladies One Week to Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive. Our crowd was totally into dancing, so it made this night all the more fun. Sing along songs to Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond never disappoint. Our crowd loved this tune and sang it proud. Felix always makes sure to give back our entire tip jar, thus helping out this fundraiser!
