Felix and Fingers was recently invited to duel at Beth Stanley and Bill Studier’s Bird Haven Greenhouse wedding. The Bird Haven Greenhouse Conservatory is an Italian Renaissance-style facility that sits on a 660-acre site. There are hundreds of different species of plants on the grounds and in the greenhouse. For more information on the Bird Haven Greenhouse, please take a look at their website. Beth and Bill’s wedding was a day they will never forget, and this venue made it all the more special.
Bird Haven Greenhouse Wedding
On October 14, 2017, Beth Stanley walked down the aisle of a greenhouse to the music of Canon in D and a waterfall. Her now-husband, Bill Studer, stood beneath a canopy of flowers, a shy but proud smile on his face as he watched his bride make her way to him. The ceremony was sweet and simple. The vows were charming. As the two, now husband and wife, recessed down the aisle, guests cheered so loudly that the sound of the rain disappeared for a few seconds.
A Wedding of Surprises
After the ceremony, attendants showed guests to the reception space. Adorned with garlands of lights, the reception set a romantic mood. Guests couldn’t wait to get out on the dance floor; however, the couple had a surprise first. Bill, known by his friends and family as a man who doesn’t dance, twirled Beth onto the dance floor and waltzed with his bride. It turns out that the couple took dance lessons and even had a choreographed first dance to wow their guests!
Once the first dance was finished, the bride and groom broke it down. Beth showed off her skills as she rapped every word to Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot. Later in the night, she revealed that she knew every word to Piano Man by Billy Joel, so guests made sure to request that song.
This wedding consisted of a beautiful venue, great food, and marvelous surprises from the bride and groom. We are honored to have been a part it. We wish Beth and Bill all the happiness in the world!
