Jen’s Guesthouse Wedding Celebration in Willow Springs, Illinois was a super fun party. Representing Felix for this beautiful event were Jake Ashey and Eric Ronquillo. Two of our power players bringing the game and nailing this wedding party!

Jen’s Guesthouse Wedding Celebration Willow Springs Illinois

Jen's Guesthouse Wedding CelebrationTo begin with, Jen’s Guesthouse is truly a gem. As guests arrived for the reception, they enjoyed an open bar. Jen’s Guesthouse boasts a courtyard rich with mahogany and tons of Edison lights. Hence everyone enjoyed the private and magnificent outdoor seating.

During cocktail hour, Felix performed a set of ballads. Frank Sinatra, James Taylor, and Etta James were all a hit with our crowd. Fly Me to the Moon by Old Blue Eyes had a few couples dancing.

Jen’s Guesthouse offered a sneak back inside the venue due to an unfortunate rain storm. This wedding party didn’t miss a beat. The rain’s timing couldn’t have been worse. Helpful staff moved everyone inside within minutes. From there, guests dined on a perfectly cooked filet alongside mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. This was without doubt a super healthy and delicious meal. In other words, Jen’s Guesthouse provided a beautiful space and amazing cuisine rain or shine! All About the Bride

Jen's Guesthouse Wedding CelebrationBrittany (the bride) was the center of attention at Jen’s Guesthouse Wedding Celebration. The reception dance party was on fire. One of the groomsmen even FLIPPED the bride like it was nothing in the middle of our dance floor. A full flip. Impressive indeed. Brittany and Shane (the groom) danced to Grow Old With You. This is Adam Sandler’s song from The Wedding Singer. What a beautiful and nostalgic moment indeed.

Felix and Fingers had a blast performing a ton of song requests during this wedding event. As Jake and Eric’s pianos piled up with songs such as Without Me by Eminem, so did our tip jars. One very generous crowd. Thank you. Brittany had a ton of fun leading her guests in her favorite sing-alongs. The most epic was Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Since every guest knew the words, they weren’t afraid to scream this song out. What a great interactive crowd.

Above all, there was a wee guest (2 years old) who hung out on the dance floor. Our tiny fan checked out Felix as we performed. Too cute!

Did we mention the magical forest right outside this venue? Felix found a little “garden hike” during their break. We felt like taking a stroll to stretch our legs. And we did, walking around, fresh air all while feeling like you’re in a magical forest. A truly special area for some quiet and peaceful time. We surely loved the surroundings at Jen’s Guesthouse. Our last song of the night request was All for Layna by Billy Joel. Everyone sang this song loud and proud. Felix would love to return and perform at Jen’s Guesthouse. Another successful wedding in our books. Wishing Brittany and Shane a lifetime of love and happiness!
