This Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook Wedding was at the beautiful Hyatt property on McDonald’s Campus. But don’t think fast food when you think of this place! This is definitely one high class wedding venue.

Felix and Fingers has been to this location before and we were super excited to return. Our bride and groom, Lauren and Tanor, had a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The grounds here are immaculate and serene. Overlooking a lake and lush greenery, one feels very far away from the bustling suburbs. Following the ceremony, we headed inside to set up for the reception. What a gorgeous banquet room! The decor is classy indeed. And the food was phenomenal! We especially enjoyed the dessert station instead of wedding cake.

Sunday Funday
We’re never sure what a Sunday wedding will bring. Will it be a more subdued quiet affair as people know they have to go to work on Monday? Or will they not care and still have a wild and crazy time? This wedding group was more towards the latter. Of course, the fact that we had a full band probably added to the festive atmosphere. Yes, we do more than just dueling pianos. We can provide drummers, guitarists, and even saxophone players. We do it all!
So after the beautiful ceremony, in which the couple’s baby was pulled down the aisle in a wagon (How cute is that?), we began our show with the famous Hora. That is always a sure bet that the dance floor will be packed! And we even had a request for Metallica. How about some heavy metal for your Sunday listening pleasure? All in all, a super fun Sunday wedding! Oh, and we can’t forget about the cider for cocktails. Yum!
