To start with, Felix and Fingers had a BLAST performing at the Hornbaker Gardens Fundraiser event. Our performers for this high energy evening were T. Duncan Parker and Robert Deason. This power team will WOW your audience and bring in money with a super fun show! Furthermore, this is one of our FAVORITE VENUES and our first time playing at a non-wedding. Hornbaker Gardens Fundraiser Event Princeton Illinois
The Hornbaker Gardens Fundraiser event was a successful show bringing in tons of money for Princeton Park District. Our client, Kim, was leaving the Chamber of Commerce after 10 years of employment. Hence, she requested Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen for our first song of the night. Needless to say cocktail hour was a BLAST. Kim had EVERYONE singing at the top of their lungs! The beauty of Hornbaker Gardens along with a friendly staff made this event delightful. Did someone say dream come true? Felix and Fingers raised nearly $1,400 with our all-request show! Felix was PROUD to donate 100% of their tips back. We also made sure everyone had a GREAT TIME. Our performers kept the dance floor PACKED with songs from the 80’s and 90’s. Everyone went NUTS when the stack of money surpassed the request slips. We thought that was AWESOME.
A Very Successful Fundraising Show!
Felix and Fingers had a few highlights during the Hornbaker Gardens fundraiser event. For example, our audience participation was EPIC. Felix LOVES when their crowd gets into the show. Getting a group of guys up on stage to spell out letters with their bodies is always a challenge. Not only did we bring up a few guys for the Letter Game, but some turned guest singers. Everyone sounded AWESOME!
Dinner was AMAZING. This event put out a spread like no other. Our performers were in Italian beef heaven. There were also Au gratin potatoes and a super delicious slaw. We always know we will leave this venue WELL FED. Felix kept paddles in the air and guests bidding on items all night long. On the other hand, Mike Sherman bid on a TV but lost and Robert tried to win a watch but failed. Better luck next time! Before we played our last song, a guest came up and sang House of The Rising Sun by The Animals. They sounded awesome. All in all, the Hornbaker Gardens fundraiser event was a very successful fundraising show. We actually had an amazing turnout. Our performers enjoyed engaging their audience in singing and dancing all night long!
