The Poplar Creek Country club wedding event overlooked a stunning golf course, hence a serene setting for our client’s outdoor ceremony. Our performers played traditional songs throughout the ceremony, finishing with a delightful recessional song…Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen. To tell the truth, we thought that was awesome!
It’s Par-Tee Time!
Being this was a golf themed wedding, even guests without the slightest interest in golf enjoyed the decor. Cocktail hour was a blast with our performers keeping the dance floor packed. Songs such as I’m Alright by Kenny Loggins brought a great Caddyshack vibe! The Poplar Creek Country Club wedding event kept guests’ spirits soaring with signature martinis and delicious appetizers. We loved the Appletinis! Another fun touch was a pre-dinner mashed potato bar served in martini glasses with toppings like bacon crumbles, cheddar cheese and chives.
After toasts and speeches, dinner embodied everything we could think of as DELICIOUS. Wooden tees added a touch of sporty chic tied to place cards and wine bottles held golf ball stoppers. Mouthwatering steaks and a cupcake tree stacked with golf ball-style cupcakes were a highlight of the evening. Felix and Fingers played an awesome rendition of At Last by Etta James for the couple’s first dance. This song ended with everyone joining the lovebirds on the floor. From there it went wild. Chocolate golf ball shot glasses filled with fireball were a hit. So much that Shout by the Isley Brothers had EVERYONE singing at the tops of their lungs. It was AWESOME!

Above all, Felix and Fingers found the perfect balance of finishing on time without killing the party vibe. For logistical purposes, we had the event coordinator line everyone up distributing glitter and confetti for the grand exit. This was one of the most joyful moments of the entire day allowing guests to shower the newlyweds one final time. We also played Happy by Pharrell Williams during this time while joyful laughter left a grand exit photo screaming FUN!
