Hamilton’s On The Lake Wedding Celebration Jacksonville Illinois
Representing Felix and Fingers at this super fun gig were our very own Katrina Nilsen and Michael Sherman. Our power duo knocked this show out of the park. Social distance rules kept this quaint party 6 feet apart, although everyone still had a great time. Hamilton’s On The Lake offers ceremony, reception and games sites that can be rented through Western Illinois Youth Camp. To be honest, this is a great location for all events. Being this was a remote location next to a lake, the scenery was stunning. This also added a special ambiance to Lindsey and John’s ceremony. Accents of fresh flowers adorned the pavilion in the approaching fall colors of gold and plum. Simply stunning. Hamilton’s On The Lake is the perfect location for a wedding. Felix highly recommends checking them out!
A Little Bit of Everything
Even though this was a quaint, socially distant wedding, everyone had a great time singing. Felix digs an all request show; it brings a little bit of everything into our gig. From toddlers to grandparents, our dueling piano show is always a hit! This particular show proved our crowd to be a mighty group of singers. Plenty of requests such as Baby Shark had the little ones clapping and singing out loud. Singing style changed later on to fun songs such as Get Buck In Here by DJ Felli Fel. As mentioned above, something for everyone!
Lindsey and John were two of the nicest people Felix has worked with. They were so happy and grateful to be celebrating despite all the challenges 2020 brought. Oh, and by the way, there were a few wicked mullets that added to the overall fun of this group. We thought they looked awesome! A highlight was the groom (face-mask) dancing with his daughter to I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons. A special and memorable moment indeed. Hamilton’s On The Lake provided everything this fabulous wedding needed and more. What a great location to share your special day with loved ones. A shout out to everyone that made this wedding happen. We are proud to place another successful show in our books!
