Felix and Fingers took the beautiful drive out to Galena, Illinois to play for this Turner Hall Anniversary Party. What a joy it was to recreate the wedding of this beautiful couple who have been married for 60 years. Congratulations, again, to Dean and Carol!
Turner Hall Anniversary Party Venue
The historic Turner Hall is a 125 year old property owned by the city of Galena. It is home to many great performances and shows of all kinds but is also available tor private events. Our honored couple thought they were just going for a portrait session with their immediate family. Imagine their 
surprise when they opened the doors and saw their entire extended family and friends all there to celebrate their 60th anniversary. We loved playing on a full professional stage and found the sound quality to be perfect. This is a wonderful spot for any performer. Sixty Years in the Making
A 60th anniversary party is a huge deal. Not many of us can reach that wonderful milestone and this couple has made it look easy. Everything from the first song to the decorations were reminiscent of their original wedding day and it was just beautiful. The couple began by dancing to their original first dance song, Moments in Time. Throughout the night, we had mostly requests from the 50’s and 60’s. Our performers absolutely loved this and so did the guests. Many of the guests had attended this couple’s wedding 60 years ago and the whole night was just perfect. It was an absolute joy for our players to perform for this wonderful occasion.
