Ashton Hill Farm Wedding Celebration Galena Illinois
Matt and Lynae were married at an outdoor ceremony high above the valleys of beautiful Galena. Although with 50 mph winds, we had to alter some of our plans. Providing set PA for the ceremony went off without a hitch, and we didn’t blow away! Oh and by the way, we really enjoyed having a drummer addition to our gig. It really elevates your party to a new level.

Eclectic Taste in Music With a Spectacular Dinner Hour
When it was time for dinner, our player Chris Heroldt provided all your favorite standards for a spectacular dinner hour. He actually did a AMAZING job! Today’s young folk have a more eclectic taste in music than ever. Hence, cocktail hour was pretty awesome with today’s hits and golden oldies.
Can you say we were nervous at first dance with twists and turns around a three tiered cake? Looking back at the dance, the cake actually looked cool in the background!
The best part of Ashton Hill Farm Wedding Celebration was when Kaleen took the wireless mic out into the crowd. Kaleen did a HUGE rap medley of Eminem songs. Our audience threw money ALL OVER. Would you believe our crowd was bowing their heads down at the end and screaming their heads off? It was the closest Felix has come to a mosh pit wedding!
Above all, the question of the evening was concerning the identity of “Alice“. If you know the song, you know what we mean. Last song of the night was testing the waters with our crowd. From the first note of Leave The Door Open by Bruno Mars, everyone really dug it. It’s great to know that’s a current song we can all pull out and audiences will groove to it.
All in all, Ashton Hill Farm Wedding Celebration was an awesome event. Everyone treated us like family. Felix looks forward to returning to play at Ashton Hill Farm. What a great space for special events.
