The Menard County Farm Bureau Celebration was in honor of their 100th Anniversary. What a great accomplishment and reason to celebrate! And also a great reason to have Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos in the house. We’re the best when it comes to marking those huge milestones. Not only will we show your group an amazing time, they will have memories of your special event for a very long time to come.
Menard County Farm Bureau Celebration
Felix and Fingers traveled to Petersburg, Illinois to help this local group celebrate their momentous occasion. Pertersburg is a charming town, complete with cobblestone streets and cute shops. In addition, it sits along the Sangamon River and many of its Victorian style homes offer wonderful views from the river bluffs. We found the farm bureau to be a very welcoming group and they have a nice small venue in which to celebrate. We were especially thankful for their stage that is fully prepared with their own speaker system mixer and lights. This certainly helped make our night a bit easier. Oh Yes, We’re King of the Road
We were quite happy that Roger Miller’s King of the Road song was a hit with this group. It’s kind of our theme song since we travel all over to bring you the best event entertainment around. And we weren’t expecting Brittany Spears requests from a downstate group of farmers, but hey, your wish is our command. We satisfied with Hit Me Baby One More Time and Lucky. Felix likes to promote audience involvement and we did so with a Sha-la-la-la-la contest between two sides of the room to Van Morrison’s Brown Eyed Girl. Both groups did exceptionally well and we had to call it a draw. To close out the evening, our performer Chris wrapped it up with a ballad version of Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing which was the perfect ending for our show. What a great night it was in this small and charming central Illinois town.
