Who does Discover Card choose to impress their international sales team? Why Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos, of course! We played for people from all over the world at this Discover Card Corporate event and we now feel very worldly. This event took place at the Ravinia Green Country Club in Riverwoods, Illinois and they also impressed this international group.
Ravinia Green Country Club
We found the Ravinia Green Country Club to be an awesome venue. Since it caters to the more prestigious areas of Chicagoland, it must live up to its reputation as one of the best clubs in the area. These members wouldn’t settle for 
anything less. As you approach this property you will be impressed by the immaculate grounds and beautiful stately and classic club house. And that impressiveness will continue as you notice the excellently decorated interior. We played in one of their banquet rooms and thought it was just perfect.
With a country club such as this, anything less than excellent service would not be allowed. And of course that is what we found. The food was excellently prepared. We had so many wonderful choices we couldn’t decide. Because these guests were from all over the world, there were various international food stations from which to choose. We tried to sample each one but the choices were so abundant that there was no way. Not if we were planning on performing that evening! We truly enjoyed our time at this exceptional venue. Discover Card Corporate Event Fun
A variety of people from all over the world attended this event. There were so many different languages that we couldn’t even identify some of the accents. But fun is fun wherever you go so we still knew how to reach them through our music. So although we couldn’t sing any of their local favorites, (well, a few of the Spanish ones we can) we could play all of their favorite American songs. We now know that people from all over the world love American music. We didn’t even need to help them choose. This international group knew exactly what they wanted to hear and the requests came pouring in. One group was having such a good time that they pulled their table to the center of the dance floor. They said they wanted the best seats. That was certainly something we haven’t seen before but hey, when in Rome.

The favorite song of the night for this Discover Card Corporate Event had to be Mike S. singing It’s Raining Men.
