Crystal Lake Country Club meets Blessing Barn
For the second year in a row we’ve been invited to perform at the Blessing Barn event, this year held at the Crystal Lake Country Club. Blessing Barn is an amazing local organization that helps provide clothing to people in need, it’s been a blast hearing there stories over the past couple years!

Blessing Barn: You donate we distribute is what the website advertises, but the truth is this is an overly simplified description. Based out of a barn (hence the name), the Blessing Barn identifies the need for clothing and other personal items for people in our local community. As a born and raised Crystal Lake-ian, it’s great to see a local organization doing fundamentally useful work. It’s great to hear the stories and see the pictures of the lives they’ve positively impacted. I couldn’t recommend this organization or the people who run it any more highly.

The CLCC will always have a special place in my heart. As I mentioned, I’m from Crystal Lake. I spent many summers as a caddy at the Crystal Lake Country Club. It’s great to return as an adult to perform for people who’s golf bags I once held, lol!
We’ve played at the country club for many occasions (Weddings, member events, fundraisers), and aside from it being 5 minutes from my house, I also love the set up. Beautiful views and flexible banquet rooms really work well here. Gary’s the manager and does a great job running the venue and it shows in their great staff.
