At Felix and Fingers, we primarily specialize in weddings, corporate events and private parties. However, we do have a few weekly bar performances, including at one of my personal favorites- Roscoe’s Tavern in Chicago! So when we found out a beloved staff member there wanted to have his birthday party at Roscoe’s and wanted Robert and I to duel for the party, we couldn’t say yes fast enough!
On a normal Thursday show, Roscoe’s is always a blast! It’s a very interactive show and we never know what we’ll get asked to play (although after about a year there, we’ve seen some favorite requests come in a little more frequently!) For this party though, we were given a hint that quite a few show tunes and Disney songs would show up on our request forms, so we made sure to have an arsenal to choose from by the time we got there.
Arriving at Roscoe’s that Saturday, we were certainly glad we’d revisited those Disney tunes! Roscoe’s always goes all out for the many parties they host throughout the year, and this one was no different. We could tell by the decorations (a unique mix of Disney and White Sox paraphernalia) the sort of requests we’d get, and it was Frozen to Journey and everything in between. There was even a surprise performance at the break by a Whitney Houston impersonator! We never know what to expect!
Catch Us On Thursdays!
The staff at Roscoe’s is so welcoming and friendly, it makes us thrilled that we get to return every week. It was no surprise that friends of theirs attending the party were just as lovely to entertain. And now, they’re undergoing some renovations (they’re still open during these!) which will add much larger restrooms and other improvements that will only make Roscoe’s even more wonderful. In the meantime, come hear Felix and Fingers on Thursdays while you’re sipping on one of their Construction Zone Cocktails! (A real thing!!)
