Felix and Fingers had a fabulous time performing at The Mitz Surprise 50th Birthday Party! The Mitz is located at 1019 North Wolcott and carries historical charm in Chicago’s Wicker Park. The building was built in 1917 and at one time was a municipal bath house. Plumbing was not always available so the bath house offered an 8 minute shower where individuals could pay a penny to enjoy the luxuries of running water. The new owners took great care to renovate this historical building to become a gorgeous event venue. The Mitz Surprise 50th Birthday Party in Chicago’s Wicker Park!
Felix and Fingers performed at the the Mitz downtown Chicago for a special surprise 50th birthday party. The Mitz boasts 2,100 square feet of room, high tech sound systems and 16 foot ceilings. There were 45 eager and excited guests waiting to yell “Surprise!” at the Mitz! The guest of honor is from Holland, this brought in some awesome European influence at the party!
The Mitz boasts a state of the art, large commercial kitchen. Delicious food from Boutique Bites was served by attentive and professional staff. The menu consisted of amazing food selections such as Tuna tartar, Wagyu beef and Mediterranean Sea Bass. To cater Boutique Bites please click here!
Disco Ball Dancing
Felix and Fingers were excited about a surprise guest singer Yolanda Graves who was flown out from New York for the Mitz surprise 50th birthday party. Yolanda sang for the couple’s wedding in Paris and is quite the celebrity touring extensively with well known artists from the 1970’s. Yolanda had the party guests on the dance floor with songs from the Disco 70’s era! Felix and Fingers enjoyed accompanying Ms. Graves that evening in playing some well known disco tunes such as “Staying Alive” and “I Will Survive”.
