Hotel InterContinental Brunch Event Chicago Mag Mile
The King Arthur Ballroom was the setting for this wedding brunch. This stunning ballroom is one of four unique and historic venue options. Our performers for this event were Mike Potts and T. Duncan Parker. We can honestly say this was one of the most elegant occasions we have performed at. This event was a next day brunch that followed Brenna and Antoine’s wedding reception. Since many of the guests had been out partying until 3 a.m., the mother of the bride asked us to keep the volume down. Of course, we complied!
The Hotel InterContinental brunch event provided spectacular sights in addition to incredible food. For example, the King Arthur Ballroom overlooks Michigan Avenue’s Magnificent Mile. Beautiful stained glass windows glowed while guests dined by candlelight. Everyone raved about the food prepared by the hotel’s seasoned culinary team. Classy Jazzy Brunch
Mike and T. Duncan Parker played instrumental background jazz with occasional singing at this event. Since Felix and Fingers started out their company as a jazz duo, this was not an unusual style of music for us. It was nice to go back to our roots. Incidentally, many of the guests attending this brunch were French as the groom is French. Our performer Mike brought a flute and played a few solos to mix things up. The look of pleasant surprise on guest’s faces when he specifically played Fantasie, Nocturne at Allegro Scherzando by Philippe Gaubert and Cantabile et Presto by Georges Enesco was priceless.

As you can see, Felix and Fingers is more than a dueling piano show. We incorporate instruments from strings, to brass and drums. Mike and T.
