Are you still searching for that perfect premiere venue space? Felix and Fingers drove to West Chicago, IL for the DuPage County Bar Association corporate event. This was a fun and interactive awards banquet held at Prairie Landing Golf Club for the DuPage County Bar Association. Even though there wasn’t much dancing, the singing and smiles made up for it!
DuPage County Bar Association Corporate Event West Chicago
No matter what size gala you plan, you can always make the experience extra special by hosting it at Prairie Landing Golf Club. There are lots of ways to celebrate with formal elegance while still being down to earth and personal. The DuPage County Bar Association corporate event was a black tie affair for swearing in judges and attorneys into office. The ceremony was indeed interesting for our performers Greg Percifield and Mike Sherman to watch. This event was also an engaging way to spotlight people who have contributed the most to the DCBA. The Prairie Landing Golf Club had a great kitchen. Our performers were able to to try a few pulled pork tacos courtesy of McChesney’s Pub & Grill before their show started. They were AMAZING! To begin with, we played a light instrumental during dinner as they swore in the new President of the association. This President LOVES going to Felix and Fingers shows in Vegas, so that’s why she brought us in to perform! Well, and for the fact we are simply AWESOME!
Letter Games and Song Debates
Did Felix and Fingers act out their world famous Letter Game? Of course we did, and the new President and her colleagues were all lined up having a BLAST! Interestingly enough, earlier during the President’s speech, she admitted to being extremely shy to public speaking and even thought about taking a public speaking course. Furthermore, she stated when she’s in a courtroom, it is a whole different story with zero problemos. As a matter of fact, we overheard guests talking about how much they admired the new President, and how humble she was. In all honesty, it’s always awesome to hear people talk about other people in such nice ways.
Above all, there wasn’t much dancing at the DuPage County Bar Association corporate event, but that did not stop the 80’s song requests coming in from the few brave dancers. Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard was definitely a highlight of the night. Additionally, there was a guy we met who was in charge of food and drink that once worked at Ed Debevic’s. He was a riot! We had a fun debate about Willy Wonka and The Candy Man Song. The debate was which came first, the movie or the song. Moreover, was Sammy Davis the person who truly brought it to fame?
