To begin with, the Concern Fundraiser Event was a very festive evening. Felix and Fingers headed out to perform at Galleria Marchetti located in Chicago, Illinois. Not only was this a glitzy gala, but the Thanks-for-Giving Committee did an AMAZING job hosting this event. Our performers for the Concern Fundraiser Event were T. Duncan Parker and Robert Deason. Felix and Fingers brought a high energy show to a fun loving audience all night long!

The Thanks-for-Giving Gala (now in it’s 10th year) was a fundraiser for Concern Worldwide US. This worldwide humanitarian organization provides relief and support to third world countries. Such an inspiring organization indeed. Galleria Marchetti had a beautiful grand piano in the lobby. This allowed Felix and Fingers to provide live jazz during check-in and cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed signature drinks and hors d’oeuvres as we played songs such as What’s Going On by Haley Taylor. Everyone had FUN!
Amazing Guest Speaker and Tons of Dancing
Felix and Fingers always enjoy an array of delicious food choices. The Concern Fundraiser Event had an amazing spread of heavy appetizers for dinner. On the other hand, we couldn’t get enough of the pasta bar. We may or may not have had a second helping of the baked mostaccioli. It was DELICIOUS! As guests enjoyed their meal, they listened to a guest speaker. This speaker is also Concern’s photographer, he captures the organizations great work. He was AMAZING!
Our audience wanted to dance! The Concern Fundraiser Event was a CRAZY all night party. Hence, a really fun crowd who loved to laugh and sing. We kept the dance floor PACKED with songs such as Starry Night by Peggy Gou and Anybody by Burna Boy. We also split the room up for a sing off. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen brought out a new level of excitement. Above all, there were bags, Jenga and other great lawn games set up indoors for guests to play. Something for everyone!
