Imagine a night filled with laughter, music, and the rhythmic tapping of dancing feet. This was the scene at the recent Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos event held at the stunning Galleria Marchetti in Chicago.
A Seamless Transition
The evening began with a beautiful wedding ceremony. After exchanging vows, the guests were ushered to an hour-long cocktail session, providing the perfect opportunity for the venue to transform the space for the reception. The transition was so seamless that by the time guests returned, their salads were served and the room was ready for the main event – the dueling pianos!
The Dueling Pianos Take Center Stage
The smaller of the two spaces at Galleria Marchetti was used for the event, a perfect choice for the dueling pianos. There was plenty of room for guests to dance and sing along to the tunes played by the talented pianists, Nathan Gallop and T. Duncan Parker.
The night was filled with a variety of songs, from a massive pop punk early 2000’s medley to the much-loved chapel roan. A highlight of the evening was the rendition of ‘Jack and Diane’. The crowd sang along at full volume, allowing the pianists to sit back and enjoy the chorus.
The Pink Pony Club
However, the standout moment of the night was undoubtedly the performance of ‘Pink Pony Club’. The energy in the room was palpable, with the piano shaking from the enthusiastic jumping on the dance floor. It was a sight to behold and a testament to the infectious energy of a Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos event.
