Felix and Fingers were excited to play at this charming classic outdoor wedding celebration located in Quincy, Illinois. Our performers for this high-energy event were Michael Sherman and Greg Percifield. The bride and groom had to make a few changes due to COVID-19 for their reception. Greg and Mike drove out to set up their show on the family farm and it was a gorgeous day!

Charming Classic Outdoor Wedding Celebration Quincy Illinois

Charming Classic Outdoor Wedding CelebrationUpon arriving at this event, we knew it was going to be a night of fun. For example, this charming classic outdoor wedding celebration was glowing under a huge tent. Guests also enjoyed displaying their fun grooves on a green grass dance floor. Michael and Greg were accompanied by a drummer. This extra depth added another level of fun to their show. Furthermore, Brooke Agard (former bride client of ours) was a guest at this wedding. We had a great time catching up. Always wonderful to run into former clients!

From cocktail hour to our last song we played our hearts out with country, 80’s and hip-hop requests. Mike and Greg were all over the billboards having the time of our life. Everyone was singing and dancing the entire evening. We made sure our fun loving crowd went home happy!

THEMED WEDDING CAKES WITH A GATOR DROP DANCE

Charming Classic Outdoor Wedding CelebrationWe love a good surprise. The bride delivered a show stopping dessert. Guests at this charming classic outdoor wedding celebration buzzed with excitement as the grooms cake arrived. To everyone’s surprise, it was a Packer’s themed caked and looked amazing. Above all, we had a great view of the party from our stage. After guests enjoyed a delicious slice of cake, Greg and Mike packed the dance floor. Felix had the crowd singing and dancing all night long!

This charming classic outdoor wedding celebration was so easy going. From the perfect weather to a memorable night, Felix had a wonderful time interacting with their audience. A highlight of the evening was when we played Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey for the bride. It was a “must play” song and we nailed it! Never a dull moment at this event. The bridal party created their own fun scene from Animal House with Shout! by The Isley Brothers. Every time we yelled GATOR, they dropped to the ground and kicked their feet in the air. We hadn’t seen this before, but loved the laughter that accompanied it. Our crowd enjoyed an amazing night. Another successful show for Felix’s books!
