Chapel Hill Golf Course has helped hundreds of couples plan their perfect golf course wedding and receptions. Felix and Fingers drove out to Princeton, Illinois to perform at the Chapel Hill wedding event. We’d also like to let you know this golf course is a fully equipped banquet facility and offers some banner views. Chapel Hill Wedding Event Princeton Illinois
To begin with, the Chapel Hill wedding event was one of THE cutest backyard ceremonies we have performed at! This house was originally their grandparent’s home and when Sarah and Tyler moved in, they gutted and revamped the entire home. We were amazed when we walked in at what we saw….it was chic, modern and adorable.
Our performers for the Chapel Hill wedding event were Greg Percifield and Jennifer Lee Knuth. Felix and Fingers had an awesome little set up for this backyard wedding. And not only was it overcast, but the clouds parted and the sun shone brightly RIGHT as they announced, “You may kiss the bride!”. It was PERFECT!
After the ceremony, the happy couple asked everyone to walk around to the front and enjoy a champagne send-off. A Bentley was waiting for the couple after the toast and drove them to the golf course down the street for the reception. Felix and Fingers packed up and followed in tow setting up in the clubhouse for the second half of this party.
Built in 1914 the Chapel Hill Golf Course holds rich history and stunning surroundings. To be honest, it’s a multi-functional country club wedding venue that provides clients with a simple, yet elegant event space to host their weddings or special events. Solo Performances and New Friends
The staff at Chapel Hill Golf Club gave everyone the best experience available at this event. Not only did they provide a high level of service to create an elegant celebration, but they ensured guests received the desired elements at this venue. Cocktail hour had our performers playing requests such as Cheek to Cheek by Louis Armstrong while guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres and endless champagne. It wasn’t long before guests hit the dance floor enjoying songs such as Let There Be Love by Nat King Cole. We loved seeing everyone having a great time mingling and dancing!
Dinner was simply delicious. The Chapel Hill wedding event provided an elegant dining experience with a prime rib that was out of this world! Jennifer and Greg kept the vibe going with songs such as Crazy in Love by Sophia Karlberg and Moon River by Louis Armstrong. Furthermore, about an hour into the reception, we got word there was a surprise pop-up ice cream cart. Everyone did a mass exodus off the dance floor to stand in line for the ice cream. We weren’t able to enjoy any, but it sure looked AMAZING!
Above all, at the end of the evening a guest asked if her son could play a song. The room was pretty much empty by now so we figured we’d let him come up and play. As soon as the prodigy sat down and played, the room filled up with guests to listen to him. He played a melody we recognized…My Immortal by Evanescence. This kid had talent!
