Felix and Fingers recently performed at this Hilton Garden Inn Wedding event in Champaign, Illinois. This was a medium sized wedding in the hotel ballroom that needed a large size dance floor.

With their flexible event space, the Hilton Garden Inn in Champaign can host up to 1000 guests. Wow, that is one huge venue. We were in a much smaller space for this medium sized crowd. You will love the stylish decor of their banquet rooms as well as their friendly staff. Not only that, all of your guests will have access to free WiFi which will enable some great social media sharing of your big day.
Although the wedding was in Illinois, this is St. Louis Cardinal country. These sports fans never want to miss a game and for this wedding, they didn’t have to. They used the venue’s 
projection system to show the game throughout the reception. Seems to be a great idea if your wedding day coincides with a sporting event your guests just can’t miss. Gettin’ Down to Funky Town
This was one wild group of dancers. We even had to move a couple of tables as this group outgrew the dance floor all night long. They especially went nuts for Funky Town by Lipps Inc (original). We mean they went crazy over this song, like crazy, crazy and more crazy! Some other popular requests were Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On a Prayer and It’s Raining Men by the Weather Girls. Oh my! You should have seen the groomsmen dancing to that one. We wish we had a video. When it was time to end the evening we closed out with Closing Time by Semisonic and Good Night Sweetheart, Good Night from The Overtones. And it for sure had been a very good night.
