If you have been searching for a great private school for your children, you may want to look at Our Lady of Peace in Darien, Illinois. Felix and Fingers recently performed for their Catholic School Grand Auction 2019. If the success of their fundraiser is any indication, this must be a great place for your kids to learn.
Our Lady of Peace Catholic School Grand Auction 2019
The parent organization organized and put on this hugely successful fundraiser for their children’s school. Our Lady of Peace is for grades K through 8 in Darien, Illinois. These parents really know how to do it right! They had secured an amazing amount of sponsored items for their silent and live auctions. And we must mention that they also chose some awesome entertainment for the evening too. One special highlight was the Ireland vacation that went for $2100. It was a bargain with all that it included. Their choice of venue was also a huge success with the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge.
There were some other great items too such as the bar cart that we auctioned while playing our own accompaniment. Since they had closed the bar during the dinner and live auction time, this item went over very well. We also appreciated the musical theme of the evening. The table decor went along with this as well and even the flower vases were lined with sheet

Music Mania at the Marriott
Our host for the evening was the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge. And as usual with Marriott properties, they did a phenomenal job. The food was divine and well presented and the staff was excellent at taking care of the huge amount of people in attendance. Whatever the occasion, Felix can highly recommend this fine venue. This group loved every song we played. Once they started packing the dance floor, we did our best to keep up with all of their requests. 90’s dance tunes seemed to be wildly popular with songs such as We Like to Party by Vengaboys and U Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer. So much fun! Not only did we play music for this Catholic School Grand Auction, we were the auctioneers as well. We had everyone in tears with our comedic auction style and we’re sure that each and every item went for the top dollar possible. Felix and Fingers does a huge amount of fundraisers every year and we are experts in helping you raise your needed funds. In addition, we even raised over $1500 in tips alone. And we always donate our tips right back to your organization.
