The Cantigny Park Emerald Evening Fundraiser was an incredible night of live entertainment. Besides providing a high-energy gig, our client, St. Patrick Catholic School went above and beyond decorating. Everywhere we looked, the banquet room was sparkling with green and gold. The fact that someone did such a great job decorating is AMAZING! On the other hand, the fresh floral table centerpieces were simply stunning.
Cocktail hour was especially fun with pop hits and classic Sinatra. Felix and Fingers LOVE requests and the fact that vintage billboard tunes found our piano made us HAPPY. Our audience sang at the top of their lungs with the first notes of Money For Nothing by Dire Straits. Passed hors d’oeurves and signature drinks kept everyone happy. A perfectly pitched 60 minutes!
Singing Priests and Auction Assist
The food was INCREDIBLE at this event. Tons of parents along with Cantigny Park Emerald Evening fundraiser alumni enjoyed a delicious dinner. Not only did Cantigny culinary team serve an amazing presentation, but they actually exceeded everyone’s expectations. This was some of THE BEST steak and chicken we’ve had in a LONG TIME. Duncan and Robert DJ’d dynamic dinner music as guests enjoyed their meal. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Not long after dessert and coffee, the room started buzzing with interactive gig excitement. In addition to our dueling piano show, Robert and Duncan also helped lead the live auction portion of the evening. It was a BLAST!
Being this was a Catholic school fundraiser, it was super fun because everyone knew each other. Therefore, the banter and laughter was infectious! There were 3 priests in attendance that were VERY FUNNY. They raised a TON of MONEY by singing RAP SONGS….in Latin!
Above all, to help with a Fund Dash, Robert performed an Irish jig and raised over $300 dollars! In conclusion, the amazing staff at Cantigny was a delight to work with and the food was MOUTHWATERING. From private parties to formal galas, Felix and Fingers play them all!
