A beautiful venue only a short drive away from Crystal Lake and McHenry, IL, the Bull Valley Golf Club located in Woodstock, IL is always a delight to visit. Felix and Fingers feels honored to be a part of the annual theater fundraiser for the Raue Center at this beautiful golf club.
Starry Night Theater Fundraiser
Bull Valley Theater Fundraiser for Raue Center
Flowers and lights decorated the tables and room. Everything was crisp, clean, and elegant. The venue reminded Mike a bit when he was married years before in the very same venue. Before he admired the décor for too long and became too sentimental, the “Star Gazers” arrived for the fundraiser. They get their name from the ceiling in the Raue Center that reminisces a starry sky. The Star Gazers dressed to impress in their tuxedos and long, beautiful dresses. They lit up the night with their love and enthusiasm for music and the fine arts.
Shining Bright
The service was excellent at the Bull Valley Golf Club while guests enjoyed food and drink while they had their fundraiser. We had lots of fun requests for old hits like “Piano Man” and “What a Wonderful World” which livened up the night. I looked around and people couldn’t help but smile and sing along to the old classics. Moreover, the staff took part in our dueling pianos games to help raise money and added excitement to the evening. We enjoyed seeing the wait staff having fun as well as the crowd became involved and invested in the games. Competitive natures flared, but all in good fun and good spirits. By the end of the evening, they auctioned off many signed guitars. Finally, to top it all off, the crowd made a sound donation to the Raue Center.
