This Excellence Forum Marriott Event was the ending party after a convention for adult educators. The event took place at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Felix and Fingers has performed there many times and we’re always happy to return.
Excellence Forum Marriott Event
When the Forum for Excellence met at their yearly convention, they must have worked very hard. We know this because by the time we performed for them on their last evening, this group was ready to party! This was a Tuesday evening party. We’re never quite sure what the mood will be with these midweek events. But we must say we needn’t have worried. This group had just as much fun, and maybe more, than any Saturday night event. We played everything from Bon Jovi to Beyonce and they kept the dance floor packed all night. In fact, we ended up playing for an extra half hour because they just couldn’t stop. Baby Got Back by Sir Mix a Lot was the big hit of the night. These educators really know how to shake their stuff!
Marriott Makes It Easy
As stated above, we’ve been here before and always know we’ll be treated well. Dan, or “Dan the Man” as his name tag says, is so helpful and makes sure we have everything we need. Besides their awesome staff, the food here is excellent. We’ve never been less than impressed. For example, they had one of the best cheese displays we have ever seen. And we weren’t even playing in Wisconsin! Now you may think that that is not much but we do a lot of events here at Felix and Fingers. So when we say the best, it really means something.
