Felix and Fingers had the opportunity to perform for a Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel Event for a nursing organization recently out in Normal, Illinois. Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel Event
The crowd for this particular event was mostly female because it was held for a nursing organization. Additionally, the event as held on a Wednesday, but that did not stop them from really getting into the show. As well they had a casino set up in the room. Every 1000 chips equaled a raffle ticket and the guests got a kick out of it. The space for this Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel event provided guests with plenty of space to mingle, dance, and partake in drinks and food. We dressed in our Christmas suits and it made us nervous because a lot of Jewish people attended the event. But then, two guys in Yamakas came up and wanted pictures in our Christmas jackets. It made our night.
Music and Dancing
These guests made for a fun night of a variety of music and dancing. We had lots of different requests, including a crowd favorite of “Uptown Funk” which had everyone out on the dance floor. There were even times where the crowd circled around the piano set and sang and danced to classic hits. Everyone seemed to have a great time, at a great venue, with great music!
