The month of June can supply fairy-tale weddings with lush garden surroundings and million dollar views. Lyndsey and Mark chose a beautiful day to celebrate their Bloomington Country Club wedding. Felix and Fingers drove out to Bloomington, Illinois eager to meet and greet everyone. Word had it the wedding party LOVED to dance. We had a BLAST keeping them on the floor all night long! Congratulations Lyndsey and Mark!
Bloomington Country Club Wedding Illinois
The Bloomington Country Club provided a pristine setting for Mark and Lindsey’s special day. It was indeed clear the event coordinators outdid themselves for this outdoor ceremony and reception. To be honest, the club’s employees were some of the most caring, attentive and friendly people to work with. If you would like to tour the Bloomington Country Club click here.
The outdoor ceremony was indeed beautiful offering white canopy tents providing shade if needed. Since we had 3 different performance areas, staff assisted in setting up our equipment allowing us to play the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception without missing a beat. Felix and Fingers played a traditional wedding march as Lindsey greeted Mark under a gorgeous twisted twig pergola. A truly lovely ceremony.
Cocktail hour was held outdoors and allowed for great picture opportunities as the Bloomington Country Club offered stunning natural background options. To begin with, the first thing we noticed about Lyndsey and Mark is their kindness and easy-going demeanor. The bride and groom made sure to stop and acknowledge their family and friends, asking if everyone was having a great time. Felix and Fingers played light instrumental jazz in the background while butler passed hors d’oeuvres made their rounds in between flowing champagne. A few guests enjoyed a twirl in the grass to songs such as The Girl From Ipanema by Astrid Gilberto.
Dancing and Singing All Night Long
Felix and Fingers have the rare ability to make everyone around them happy. In fact, everyone was in high spirits when dinner rolled around. Felix and Fingers were ready to party. With simple wedding decor and a slight rustic flair, this Bloomington Country Club wedding was a romantic yet classic inspiration. First dance, parent dances and cake cutting went smoothly. For dinner we played a mix of soft pop requests and DJ’d a few jazz tracks while enjoying a mouthwatering filet!
Since this was an all ages show, Felix and Fingers had the younger crowd out burning off cake calories with Sir Mix A Lot’s Baby Got Back. It wasn’t long before the dance floor was packed and everyone was having a great time. Felix and Fingers always ask their audience to sing along with them. Tonight’s rendition of Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey had guests hitting spectacular high notes and it sounded AWESOME!
Felix and Fingers would like to say it was SUCH a pleasure to be a part of the Bloominton Country Club wedding. We are so honored and thrilled that you choose us to be your entertainment show. Not only was your wedding successful, but everyone said they had a BLAST! If you would like us to play at your next event send an email to email@example.com or click here for more information.
