AutoMeter 60th Anniversary
In honor of 60 years of quality products, great customer service and fantastic events, AutoMeter spent a well-earned night relaxing. This event started with a small arrangement of food and drinks but soon grew to be a party. Guests kicked off their shoes and gathered on the dance floor. We played line dances, which were a favorite, and had many requests for celebratory songs. One person requested Happy by Pharrell Williams twice! At one point during the dancing, the owner, vice president and president had a dance off to Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot. What a creative idea!

Once the crowd dance floor started to dwindle, the president and vice president stood by our pianos to make speeches. One talked about how proud he is of the hard work everyone has invested in the company, especially as they expanded across the ocean to England, and how grateful he is to have such dedicated employees. The other echoed those sentiments and then spoke of the vision for the next 60 years.
After they finished those speeches, the owner of the company came to the front. He congratulated everyone and raised his glass to the future. Then he proceeded to award cash prizes to the employees. Some got $60, others got $260 and a few even got $560! His generosity to his employees amazed us, and we were honored to have been part of that moment.
