Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos had the pleasure to perform at an Aurora Country Club party recently out in Aurora, Illinois. The Venue
The country club is located in a Chicago suburb and was founded in 1914. The venue is easily accessible and has great food, service, and staff. The accommodated for guests and put together a really lovely Christmas party for this company. This crowd also had several kids that attended and the staff did really well with making sure the space was more kid-friendly for the event. As well, they decorated the room nicely and everything seemed well put together.
This party was not only a Christmas party, but this Aurora Country Club party also helped celebrate twenty years for MVP. The hor d’oeuvres were excellent. Among the many appetizers, they offered three different kinds of meatballs and each one was delicious. The dinner was even more amazing. It’s an excellent perk of the job. 😉
Aurora Country Club Party
We had some memorable moments from this event. Near the beginning, we had a little girl come up to us with a stack of requests that may have been from her dad’s 80s playlist. They danced and sang along to the tunes together with big smiles on their faces. Additionally, because of the number of kids we had in the crowd, we played a bunch of Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus. We actually had ten different requests for Miley Cyrus from the kids! We had lots of fun taking their requests and getting to as many of them as we could.
Finally, we had one guest that came up and sang with us. She was shy at first and stated that she couldn’t sing. But during her song, she gained a ton of confidence and belted out “I Will Survive”. The crowd was on their feet and loved every bit of it! We are thankful for moments like these that make our jobs exciting for us and for guests. We hope to be back here again!
