Familiar Faces and Custom Lighting
Felix and Fingers LOVE running into familiar faces. Our performers ran into a couple we met at a NYE wedding we performed at last year in Hoffman Estates. It was in fact GREAT to mix and mingle. Erik and Michelle chose our Gobo option (that’s the light projection we offer) and it looked AMAZING. Furthermore, the groom enjoyed woodworking and made the letters in front of our pianos. They looked AWESOME. Our performers did a great job bridging cocktail hour with dinner. Couples enjoyed a turn on the dance floor AND we had them singing Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond along with the first toast. Everyone sounded INCREDIBLE!
The Metropolis Ballroom wedding reception was one big party. Felix and Fingers kept the party hopping all night long. This crowd knew how to dance. The floor was packed with songs from The Beatles, A-Ha and Shakira. We actually had a Conga line form that snaked the entire ballroom twice! On the other hand, there was an open bar where guests could cool down and a cigar bar in honor of the bride’s father (who had passed away). Late night snacks and a circle of love while playing Piano Man by Billy Joel rounded out the Metropolis Ballroom wedding reception nicely. All in all, this was another successful and FUN wedding party in our books!
