Felix and Fingers thought the Arboretum Club was an excellent venue choice for a Bar Mitzvah.  We had so much fun at The Arboretum Club Bar Mitzvah in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.  Felix and Fingers always enjoy seeing kids have a great time.  This event was indeed a great switch up to the weddings, fundraisers, and corporate events we perform at.  Congratulations Elijah on your Bar Mitzvah!

The Arboretum Club Bar Mitzvah Buffalo Grove

Arboretum Club Bar MitzvahFelix and Fingers pulled up to the Arboretum Club ready to goof around and have fun at Elijah’s Bar Mitzvah.  Elijah had just celebrated his 12th birthday receiving all his rights and obligations as a Jewish adult.  Elijah’s Bar Mitzvah was celebrated in a synagogue prior to the Arboretum Club celebration party.  Our performer for the Bar Mitzvah was Mike Sherman and boy did he have a blast.  To begin with, Mike played games with kids on the dance floor prior to the party starting.  For example, two lucky kids were chosen to play the Mummy Wrap game.  A whole room-full of kids laughing is indeed music to our ears!

The Arboretum Club Bar Mitzvah held a video game theme throughout the entire banquet room.  Place settings were in the fashion of game controllers sporting guest’s names.  Furthermore, dining tables held candy centerpieces with neon light tubes holding Xbox cardboard displays. In all honesty, a gamer’s paradise.  If you would like to tour the Arboretum Club for your next event please click here.

Music, Food and Fun!

Arboretum Club Bar MitzvahWow, the Arboretum Club really knows how to put on a spread.  To begin with, everyone enjoyed amazing melt in your mouth meats as well as tasty smothered chicken.  Furthermore, there was an outstanding salmon in a cream sauce that was to die for.  Afterwards everyone enjoyed a super cool nitro ice cream bar.  That was awesome!  During dinner most of Elijah’s friends gave speeches.  Almost all of the speeches included on how good or bad Elijah was at Fortnite.  No surprise with the fact the Arboretum Club Bar Mitzvah was a party revolving around…video games!

After a delicious dinner and a few good laughs there was a candle lighting ceremony.  Elijah went out on the dance floor and called up 12 different groups of guests. Mike announced each honoree as they made their way to the candle podium.  Elijah’s family provided an explanation to the crowd expressing the significance of the relationship between the honoree and the celebrant. In the end, the honorees lit a candle then added to the festivity with a comment or blessing.  Above all, guests had a super fun time dancing to the Hora.  In summary, it’s always great seeing everyone in a large circle with the guest of honor hoisted high up in a chair!
