A beautiful, sunny day greeted us in Miami, Florida as Felix and Fingers had the opportunity to travel and perform for a wedding at The Palms Hotel and Spa. We could see the beach and the ocean from the outdoor ceremony and palm trees greeted us in every direction. This venue has plenty to offer guests whether or not it is a special event. The Palms Hotel and Spa Wedding
This beautiful beach-front hotel was a great venue to have a wedding and reception. The couple held their ceremony outside on a grassy area with a gazebo. Something special about this ceremony is that instead of a unity candle the couple tied a fisherman’s knot because of their love of the sea. As well, the bride and groom are active in the military so it was neat to see the special additions they add because of that fact. After the ceremony, guests could easily walk to the reception area. They set us up in a little area of the patio near the head table. While the staff at The Palms brought out appetizers, drinks, and eventually dinner, we played the background music.
Another cool feature of the reception was that they had a caricature artist for guests to partake in. Additionally, the reception featured two specialty cocktails named after the couple’s dogs. As for the music, we had plenty of requests for a variety of songs. Some were pre-selected by the couple and guests chose other songs at the venue. We love to cater to the exact needs of our clients and we love the variety and uniqueness that it gives every event. One particular moment that was special here was that the bride’s daughter played a special part in the ceremony and later shared a dance with the groom. The night went smoothly and everyone seemed to have a great time.
