Patriotic Tunes and Memorable Military Speeches
We must say Tara Golf & Country Club went ALL OUT for their military membership guests. Classy and decked out in the ole’ red, white and blue, the room looked gorgeous. We started in a patriotic manner with The Star Spangled Banner, followed by a pledge of allegiance by Nate Rodriguez. A highlight of our evening was a set of speeches from a few military veterans who were in attendance. We couldn’t be more honored perform and be a part of such an amazing and memorable evening.
The music for the night was a classic mix of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. The biggest highlight was singing Jack and Diane by John Mellencamp. Everyone sounded awesome. Above all, there was a slow dance that had our guests enjoying The Dance by Garth Brooks. This was indeed a night to remember. Felix and Fingers closed their show out with classics and a great mix of patriotic tunes. For example, Proud to Be An American by Lee Greenwood and American Soldier by Toby Keith were a hit. By the end of our evening, the tip jar was overflowing for songs from Elton John to Johnny Cash. We made sure our guests heard them all. What a wonderful night with great vibes and another successful show in our books!
