Felix and Fingers recently dueled for the annual FieldCore holiday party held in Tampa, FL. FieldCore is a new field service company that brings together tools and insight to deliver more productive and reliable outcomes. FieldCore Holiday Party
Held in a local banquet hall, FieldCore rented a large room adorned with elegant chandeliers and christmas lights draped from the ceiling. With a bar lining one wall, a stage lining another and a dance floor in the center, staff decorated the rest of the space with long rectangle tables. Each table had a lantern and some greenery as the centerpiece. We were set up on stage, across the room from the buffet table. As guests arrived, they were immediately invited to the serving stations for their dinner. Some guests had steak while others had grilled chicken and vegetables. Everything smelled delicious!
Dueling and DJs
Throughout the evening, we alternated with a DJ. The hosts set the event up well, with us playing for half an hour, then a raffle, then the DJ playing for half an hour, and so on. It was exciting to see the DJ play and have the ability to bond with the guests on as well as off the stage. During one of our sets, we invited a group of people to the stage that the hosts told us to tease. We had them do an interactive tree dance for the crowd, and the other guests loved it! When we played one of our other sets, we dueled to the song Wobble by V.I.C. The entire dance floor was crowded with expert wobblers.
