When it comes to wedding venues in South Florida, one of our favorite locations is the Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach. Felix and Fingers performed at the Ancient Spanish Monastery wedding event for both outdoor ceremony and reception. As soon as our performers arrived at the venue they stepped back in time. They were completely surrounded by the look and feel of an Old European monastery. Congratulations Nikkie and Charles, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Ancient Spanish Monastery Wedding Event North Miami Beach

Ancient Spanish Monastery Wedding EventThe Ancient Spanish Monastery is unlike any other Florida venue that we’ve ever seen! Since this is an outdoor venue, you may want to consider the heat during summer months. Our performers for the Ancient Spanish Monastery wedding event were Brandon Parsons and Nate Rodriguez. These guys have played many summer Florida weddings and knew how to keep cool by setting up in the shade of the monastery’s gorgeous grounds.

The Ancient Spanish Monastery offers 5 outdoor locations for your special day, accommodating up to 300 guests. During the ceremony, guests were treated to 12th century Romanesque and Gothic building backdrops, making for an unforgettable event. During the couple’s vow exchange, our performers kept a romantic vibe playing light instrumental love songs such as All of Me by Daniel Jang. Not a dry eye in the crowd! Brandon and Nate bridged cocktail hour seamlessly greeting guests with songs such as Lovely Day by Bill Withers. Being outdoors, there was so much flexibility at this venue. The bride and groom added a saxophone player to our dueling piano show, it was the PERFECT choice. In fact, our saxophone specialist created the perfect cocktail mood with stylish Bossa Nova songs by Rosa Passos and mellow drifting chords by Jack Johnson. The Ancient Spanish Monastery wedding event catered amazing appetizers and offered a full service open bar. The lobster stuffed poblano peppers were out of this world.

Beautiful Star Theme and Famous Singers

Ancient Spanish Monastery Wedding EventThe Ancient Spanish Monastery wedding event had a star theme and it created the most magical atmosphere as the evening arrived. Hence, thousands of twinkling lights turned the reception cloister into a starlit paradise! Dinner was incredible. Not only was the sea bass some of the freshest we’ve ever tasted, but the cheesecake had us asking for a recipe! Nikkie’s cousin is a famous singer and sang their first dance to Perfect by Ed Sheeran. He nailed it!

Felix and Fingers want you to know they will inspire your guests to groove all night with a round up of amazing dance songs! We really had a BLAST playing for this awesome crowd. From party anthems to rock ballads, oldies to country classics, we made sure to keep our crowd HAPPY. Our performers started out with high-energy upbeat songs such as I’m So Excited by The Pointer Sisters to help kick start the party. Felix and Fingers LOVED seeing the entire wedding party dancing and singing the whole night!

We loved the bride and grooms idea of an old school masquerade at this wedding event. Everyone wore super cute masks and sang What Does The Fox Say by Ylvis. Above all, Felix and Fingers looked forward to playing the all important song to end the night. Per the bride’s request, Come on Eileen by Dexy’s Midnight Runners was a HIT. The crowd went WILD singing to the chorus. It was the perfect song to get EVERYONE up for one last dance!
