Such a cool experience performing our USS Midway Museum Dueling Piano Corporate Event in a historical naval aircraft museum. This museum actually consists of the aircraft carrier USS Midway. Our players David and Leana had a blast with their crowd. Not only did Felix nail their show, but they sent their San Diego, California crowd home happy!

USS Midway Museum Dueling Piano Corporate Event San Diego, California

USS Midway Museum Dueling Piano Corporate EventTo begin with, what an amazing experience performing on the USS Midway Museum. Even more, so many important people passing through over the years. Wow. Just wow. We also loved watching this museum’s friendly staff ensure an awesome event.

Our load in/out was so easy with a lift and excellent client communication. What’s more, our gig was a huge Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Event. And our client, Kenny, was a pleasure to work with. If you’d like to tour the USS Midway Museum for your next special event, please click here.

Starting our Show Off with a Bang!

USS Midway Museum Dueling Piano Corporate EventThere were over 1,500 guests mingling around this large ship. Hence, we received song requests from folks walking by AND seated at their tables. What’s more, our USS Midway Museum Dueling Piano Corporate Event hired a “Maverick” impersonator. Thus, a fun Top Gun moment with Felix banging out Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis. Our crowd went nuts. We love starting our shows off with a bang!

We had two party tables that put the entire USS Midway on its back. These tables were singing and dancing all night. In fact, one guest danced her way over to us with her requests…EVERY…SINGLE…TIME. She was clearly enjoying herself at our USS Midway Museum Dueling Piano Corporate Event. Also, tons of Whitney Houston requests with the heavy hitter being I Wanna Dance With Somebody. Leana killed this song with a smile. There were definitely a few super fans who showed off amazing vocals and moves. These were the high-energy guests who kept our crowd groovin’!

By the end of our show, guests were disbanding although the two party tables had other plans. This great group of folk stayed back to sing our signature song Piano Man by Billy Joel. An awesome end-of-show tune with everyone swaying in harmony. All in all, everyone truly enjoyed the moment. Felix definitely looks forward to playing aboard the USS Midway again!
