This Pacific View Cocktail Hour took place at the Pacific View Tower by Wedgewood Weddings in Oxnard, California. Felix and Fingers performer Shawn had a wonderful time playing for the wedding of Elizabeth and Christopher. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Pacific View Cocktail Hour Venue
The Pacific View Tower truly lives up to its name with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. This penthouse venue is on the 22nd floor and offers a wonderful location for any grand event. Lavish décor will surround you and your guests with luxury while gazing at the dazzling sunset vista. This is a location that will please even the most discerning guest. We found the food to be divine as well. A marinated chicken dish with a honey glaze was one of the most delicious entrees we’ve sampled lately. A Charming Cocktail Hour
Most often, we provide the entertainment for the entire wedding. But Elizabeth and Christopher had other plans and asked us to provide cocktail hour only entertainment. Whether its ceremony accompaniment, cocktail hour entertainment, or reception entertainment, we do it all. Our talented pianist, Shawn, truly enjoyed playing on the venue’s beautiful grand piano. We found out the groom was a huge Red Hot Chili Peppers fan. Shawn made sure to learn Can’t Stop before the gig and the song went over huge. We also had a couple of requests for rap music. The staff laughed as they had never heard rap played on their grand piano before.
Shawn slowed things down a bit as guests mixed and mingled. Frank Sinatra’s The Way You Look Tonight was perfect. Towards the end of the cocktail hour, the group gathered around the piano and all sang Billy Joel’s Piano Man. It was quite the touching moment. A huge thank you to Elizabeth and Christopher for making Felix and Fingers a part of your special day.
