A Wonderful Night of Dancing, Singing, and Amazing Live Music!
The glamorous SBPD ladies arranged our Hops & Spokes Breast Cancer Awareness Dueling Piano Fundraiser flawlessly. We loved seeing guests sporting pink wigs in honor of our fundraising event. Everyone enjoyed drinks, yummy food, and fun! Our performers played Piano Man by Billy Joel and Louis Prima’s Pennies From Heaven. These classic tunes fit in perfectly.
David, one of our performers, completely wowed the audience with WAP by Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion. We loved the sense of excitement in our room! Guests donated generously to the fundraiser and won awesome prizes. Our fundraiser’s highlight came when Felix performed Baby Got Back by Sir-Mix-A-Lot to raise breast cancer awareness. This fun-loving crowd actually participated in a steady stream of rump shakers. Even more, sing-alongs to well-known songs were hits throughout this great night. The atmosphere changed solemnly when Felix played Fight Song by Rachel Platten in honor of all the cancer survivors. David, who is also a cancer patient, found this piece emotional. He had a knot in his throat during this song. Above all, this fundraiser was a powerful reminder of the surviving family’s resiliency. It also showed the importance of sticking together to support one another during difficult circumstances.
All in all, our Hops & Spokes Brewery Breast Cancer Awareness Dueling Piano Fundraiser was a joyous and purposeful evening. Even though the fight against breast cancer may not have won tonight, Felix truly helped make a difference!
