The Trailside Event Center wedding celebration was held at, arguably, the best wedding venue in western central Illinois. Felix and Fingers LOVE performing at Trailside Event Center. We ALWAYS have a GREAT time! Our performers for this all night party were T. Duncan Parker and Greg Percifield. Felix and Fingers were EXCITED to bring their #1 online rated dueling piano show to Peoria Heights, Illinois. Everyone had a BLAST! Felix and Fingers love seeing familiar faces and working with helpful staff. From the moment we arrived, to the last note at our show, Trailside Event Center staff handled everything perfectly. This is a fairly new venue within the historic Trefzger’s building. Furthermore, your guests will be impressed by the jaw dropping, surrounding views of Rock Island Trail. To start with, Trailside Event Center offered a perfect space for the bride and groom’s ceremony. In fact, this event center’s spacious ballroom covered both the ceremony and reception. After a loving vow exchange, Trailside Event Center continued to cover this evening perfectly. From the tables and chairs to a beautiful dance floor, full bar and refined staff, this wedding celebration was EPIC! There’s even an in-house bakery!
Duncan and Greg did a GREAT job bridging cocktail hour with dinner. Not only did we enjoy playing some unique song requests, but our audience danced during the entire hour. Dinner, as always at Trailside Event Center, was amazing. On the other hand, instead of a traditional cake cutting, the lovebirds toasted each other with oysters. We’ve never seen anything like this at a wedding before. It was FUN!
Dancing, Singing and More Dancing!
Without doubt, Trailside Event Center wedding celebration first dances were very inclusive. For example, the father/daughter dance brought out ALL the fathers, father figures and daughters. This was similar for the mother/daughter dance. In all honesty, we thought this was very sweet!
Duncan and Greg had their audience singing and dancing all night long. In addition to a fun-loving audience, there were also TONS of traditions at the Trailside Event Center wedding celebration. For example, the groom’s family sings Let Me Call You Sweetheart by Bing Crosby at EVERY wedding. We made that happen! Above all, tons of kids at this wedding, so you bet we played Old Town Road by Lil Nas X. They TORE UP the dance floor!
Felix and Fingers recommend when choosing your entertainment to remember that DJ’ing at the end of a wedding is SO important! Not only can Felix perform traditional shows, but we can bring the house down with amazing DJ skills. Hence, our performers kept the floor JAM PACKED up until the end. This was a very enthusiastic crowd. Therefore, we were the perfect end cap to the Trailside Event Center wedding celebration BIG DANCE RIOT!
