Felix and Fingers love gigs at fundraisers. Gildas Club Cancer Fundraiser Stardust Davenport was a fabulous fundraising event. The Stardust is perfect for special events. T. Duncan Parker and Katrina Nilsen were the players for the cancer fundraiser. We hope Gildas Club raises tons of money to help families affected by cancer.

Gildas Club Cancer Fundraiser Stardust Davenport was an intimate event. The crowd was small but mighty. Felix and Fingers loved playing at Stardust. Indeed, it is a newer multi-purpose venue with tons of local history. Built in 1924, the Stardust was home to Emises Autoshop for close to 100 years. That’s a lot of local history! Notably, the current owners did extensive renovations to the building. For example, open high ceilings, exposed steel beams and pipes impart an urban and industrial feel. Fantastic Fundraising Event
Indeed, Felix and Fingers had a great time helping Gildas Club raise money. What a great organization helping cancer families. As a matter of fact, we assisted in an envelope pull. What’s an envelope pull you ask? It’s a fun way to get donations! First, you pull an envelope; second, inside is a number from 1-100; third, you then donate the dollar amount of your chosen number. What a fun way to benefit cancer families. It was a fantastic fundraising event. Moreover, guests imbibed their favorite cocktails from the well stocked bar.
Of course, after speeches and awards we were ready to perform! Requests came pouring in. We played everything! Baby Got Back got everyone on the dance floor. This was a fun crowd! We split the room and did a sing off. In the first place, it was hard to pick a winner. In light of the sing off being a draw, we did a sing along! To close out the evening we played Piano Man. The entire crowd sang with us. Additionally, Felix and Fingers donated all their tips to Gildas Club! What a great way to support the fundraiser.
