The Godley Park District public event was an outdoor end of the year fall festival located in Godley, Illinois. For example, people of all ages gathered throughout the day to hear live entertainment and enjoy fun activities. Our performers for this returning gig were T. Duncan Parker and Jim Gritschke. Felix and Fingers indeed had a BLAST bringing their family-friendly dueling piano show to Godley Park District.

We would like to start with saying the Godley Park District Board of Community members did an INCREDIBLE job organizing the Godley Park District public event. This amazing fall festival was a return gig for Felix and Fingers. We were so EXCITED to be back in the quaint town of Godley, Illinois. In fact, Godley is a former mining community as is located on the 1926 -1977 alignment of Route 66 and the 1940-77 ALT US 66 alignment.

Fun Fall Festival and Fabulous Fireworks
Felix and Fingers were all about spreading joy and inspiration through their magical power of music. The Godley Park District public event draws a LARGE crowd and we had FUN playing song requests the entire time! What is more, a delightful group of adults requested Sippin on Fire by Florida Georgia Line. They sang it word for word at the top of their lungs. To tell the truth, they sounded AWESOME!
There were also fair rides, train rides, food trucks and a pumpkin patch for everyone to enjoy. Hence, TONS of kids and they LOVED to dance. Above all, our performer Jim was handed a request to play Sweet Pea by Amos Lee. We all watched a father make great memories dancing to this song with his young daughter. Their smiles were infectious!
At dusk, the Mad Bomber put on a SPECTACULAR fireworks show that our performers DJ’d a selected playlist to. Songs such as Firework by Katy Perry and We Will Rock You by Queen were a HIT with the crowd. Since fireworks and festivals go hand in hand, Felix and Fingers wanted to leave a great lasting impression and finished out the Grand Finale with a perfectly timed Star Spangled Banner by Francis Scott Key. The crowd went WILD! It was the PERFECT song to go out with a BANG!
