Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos had the lovely opportunity to perform for an American Legion Fundraiser. American Legion Fundraiser
This St. Jude fundraiser not only included this event where we played but also included a racing event where participants ran a relay race from Mason City to Peoria, which is a grand total of 53 miles! At our event, over 250 people attended and donated to this amazing cause. Guests had the opportunity to donate and bid on a variety of silent auction items, which ranged from themed baskets to tickets to sporting events. There were many options available to all guests!
Felix and Fingers enjoyed performing for the lively guests at this American Legion Fundraiser. The crowd requested a number of great songs that had guests up and dancing. One of our favorite moments of the night ended up being a guest went out on the dance floor and moonwalked. However, the floor was not slick enough for the moonwalk, so another guest solved the problem by pouring water on the floor. We had instant success and everyone loved the end result! As well, all of the tips we made from requests or throughout the night went directly back to the fundraiser to support the cause. We love that music can help support all sorts of fundraisers and organizations. At the end of the night, the organization led a successful fundraiser and Felix and Fingers had a blast performing at this venue and for this event. We hope to be back!
