Felix arrived bringing holiday spirit to their super-fun Boys and Girls Club Fundraiser Event. This high-energy party was located in beautiful Tustin, California. Even more, Chris Williams and David Mahokey brought this club’s gymnasium down with singing, dancing, and tons of excitement!
Boys and Girls Club Fundraiser Event Tustin California
First off, what an honor to be a part of our Boys and Girls Club Fundraiser Event. Felix and Fingers are pros at helping raise money. In fact, we love making new friends while bringing in donations for wonderful causes. Since this was a Winter Wonderland Gala everyone attending was most definitively in the holiday spirit.
As we arrived to set up in this club’s holiday-decorated gymnasium everyone offered their help. This fundraiser event was buzzing with excitement as guests were ready for fun. Felix even spotted a cool vintage basketball hoop. Since 1966 the Boys and Girls Club of Tustin has been empowering young children between school and home. In fact, this club offers kids and teens life-changing programs with peers and caring adults. Even though the bar was located in a separate room, our entire crowd cheered us on. During cocktail hour, Chris and David enjoyed performing instrumental jazz and even some holiday classics. Our cocktail hour was a great icebreaker. Everyone immediately started dancing and singing their favorite songs. Surely Chris and David couldn’t pass up performing All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey. Our crowd sang and danced their hearts out to this popular tune. Everyone truly sounded amazing!
A Truly Great Performance and Fundraiser
After a delicious dinner, Chris KILLED The Devil Went Down to Georgia by The Charlie Daniels Band. This fancy footwork song brought out some serious dance moves. As Chris wrapped up an amazing performance our crowd went wild. Even more, a highlight of our evening was the generous audience. All proceeds went directly to empower the boys and girls of this club. How awesome was that?
Additionally, Chris and David had their audience smiling ear to ear with an awesome Conga line. This fun party favorite was indeed a success. We actually had one giant line snaking around the gymnasium forever. Chris and David extended this song with additional mashups in the same chord and style progression. As a result, our crowd enjoyed the time of their life!
Above all, bringing the entire gymnasium together to sing and sway to Piano Man by Billy Joel was awesome. Finishing out our Boys and Girls Club Fundraiser Event with our signature song never sounded better. This was indeed one of the best groups of party folk we’ve played for in a long time. Everyone sang and danced all night with multiple dance floors going and a huge finishing round of applause!
