Felix couldn’t wait to perform at their Audubon High School Fundraiser. This fundraiser was an awards night for Future Farmers of America (FFA). Representing Felix and Fingers for this night of fun were our very own Robert Deason and Michael Sherman. These guys knocked this Audubon, Iowa fundraiser out of the park. Everyone had a blast!
Audubon High School Fundraiser Audubon, Iowa
Let’s start by proclaiming Felix loves high school fundraisers. The kids are so much fun. They helped us with load in and out, which makes everything easier. Furthermore, they helped bring all our gear onto our stage. We felt VIP all night long with their help! Senior Banquet and Fundraiser Fun
In addition to the awards ceremony, there was a delicious dinner. FFA members went all out with prime rib and pork loin cooked to perfection. Robert and Michael were up on stage for a few short 5 minute sets during the awards. Then afterwards, they played a longer set for the students and their families.
Above all, there was a wide range of requests. We love when this happens. An all-ages show is certainly the best. Everyone can participate. Tons of classic rock song requests such as Those Shoes by The Eagles and Hot for Teacher by Van Halen. We even had some Disney requests for Let it Go (Frozen).
Some guests were shy at first. Although as soon as we went into Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison, EVERYONE sang and danced. What an amazing ice breaker. When we dueled The Devil Went Down to Georgia by the Charlie Daniels Band, our crowd went nuts. This was definitively a successful fundraiser for the books!
