Our performers for the Spanish Hills Club Private Event were Shawn Grindle and Leana Courtney. Can we just say these two players arrived with high energy and ready to play? Shawn and Leana knocked this show out of the park. As guests arrived we were already warming up with top hits and golden oldies. This club loves accommodating any event. It’s also known to hold amazing events such as fundraisers, retirement parties, birthdays, showers, film locations, business luncheons and meetings, anniversaries, memorial services and much more. The staff is on point and friendly. The food was out of this world. Everything was perfect down to the last song of the night. Booty Drops and Standing Ovations
You know the party is a great party when your performers have one guy and two girls doing “booty drops” to Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot. This, paired with great food and drink, had everyone rocking out at the Spanish Hills Club Private Event. Wanna know something? It was our first gig back since COVID, which was months, and this crowd was one of the best crowds we could ask for. As the night continued, Shaun and Leana did a double solo on one piano for Great Balls off Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis. We sounded AWESOME! Oh, and by the way, there was $25 bucks dropped in our tip jar to hear Justin Bieber. This was quickly and generously outbid by a non-Belieber and the rest of our crowd.
By the end of the night, we had a group that really, REALLY, wanted to hear “Two Pina Coladas” by Garth Brooks. So Shawn went and listened to the song and came back making the whole thing up – and it went great. We had our entire crowd sing the whole song. They sounded amazing. And, of course, Shawn thinks his side won the party side battle sing-off, but we all know it was a tie. What a great private event. We even received a standing ovation at the end. Now that was AWESOME!
