With plenty of space for social distancing, our Nova 535 wedding celebration was a fun party indeed! Felix and Fingers took a ride out to St. Petersberg, Florida and brought their high-energy show to a fun-loving crowd. Everyone had a BLAST. To start with, the ceremony was short and sweet. A highlight being the bride surprising the groom (a HUGE Star Wars fan) with her processional. When Felix struck the first few chords, heads turned and jaws actually dropped. In strolled beautiful Megan…to The Imperial Death March. Darth Vader’s theme was never more awesome! Besides, who doesn’t love a Star Wars wedding?!
Speeches, Jokes and Sing Along Songs
The Best Man’s speech was spot on. This guy had the entire room in chuckles. He was as entertaining as he as nostalgic. The Nova 535 wedding celebration would not have been the same if the Best Man didn’t bring some humor in. He asked who received a key to the bride’s home “just in case”. Everyone who received a key was asked to return it. Half the room stood and dropped a pile of keys in front of Megan. Even though this was a joke, it was actually sweet to see the bride with a huge pile of keys in front of her. More importantly, this showed what a loving and caring individual Megan was. We thought that was AWESOME!
Our performers had an awesome time interacting with everyone. Felix always enjoys bringing their audience together with sing along songs. As the first dance wrapped up, Megan and Martin invited everyone to stand and sing the final chorus. A magical moment indeed! Above all, a wedding party is not a party without 80’s music. Felix knocked out hits such as Like a Virgin by Madonna and Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News all night long. We had our crowd nuts and singing at the top of their lungs. As we finished our show, hearing all the compliments made us HAPPY. To tell the truth, they made us feel GREAT. Felix and Fingers are proud to place another successful show in our books!
