Recently we played a wedding in the Ski Chalet at Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI. However, it was a sunny, warm, beautiful day, and it wasn’t ski season yet. A Wedding at Grand Geneva
For this wedding, like most we do, we include the entire day. We started out with a ceremony. This wasn’t in the chalet, but it was on a pavilion a little way down the hill, right next to the golf course. It was so beautiful that for the photos after the ceremony, they just had to walk a few steps away for some great pictures. We had the first of two cocktail hours nearby at the golf pro shop. Then everyone headed up to the Chalet at Grand Geneva. Some people walked, and other took the trolley that was provided
As I mentioned, the chalet was set up spectacularly. It looked beautiful all over. We even brought uplights to put around the room (which we can do for your wedding as well). The really added a night tint of color to the room once the sun went down.
Party Time at Grand Geneva
Party Time at Grand GenevaOnce dinner was served, we got the party going! We took tons of requests and everyone was dancing all night. Right outside were the (non-snow covered) ski slopes and they were amazing to watch until they faded away into darkness. I’m sure it looks even cooler in the winter during ski season! We had a ton of fun celebrating with everyone all night.
