The Mount Zion Parks Valentine Fundraiser was a total success thanks to two great event planners and your favorite entertainment team–Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos.  What a great night it was.  We raised money for a local cause that will bring joy to kids for many years to come.

Mount Zion Parks Valentine Fundraiser

Mount Zion Parks Valentine Fundraiser flyerThe Mt. Zion Parks and Recreation Commission wanted to hold this event to raise money for a splash pad for their local water loving children.  Felix and Fingers is always ready to help out with fundraisers and we really know how to make a splash.  Get it?  The fundraiser was for a water park.   We had help from their duo of event planners, Tiffany and Tiffany.  Our performer accidentally called them the Lindsays and was embarrassed that she messed up the one name she had to remember.  These two were lovely to work with and incredibly professional as well.  They were just as friendly and bubbly in person as they were on the phone.  They made everyone’s night go quite smoothly.  If you’re interested in hosting an event at Mt. Zion’s park facilities, give them a call.  Click here for their contact information.

Your Fundraising Professionals

Mount Zion Parks Valentine Fundraiser stage

Many of the fundraisers we attend have a wide variety of items available for bidding.  In addition to their 50/50 raffle, this Mount Zion Parks Valentine Fundraiser, however, only had two.  We felt this made for an easy, laid back night of true fun, dancing, singing, and money raising.  One item was for a huge wagon filled with booze and the other was a basket filled with over $1000 in gift cards.  You may be wondering how they raised so much money with only two items.  Well, they hired us of course!  When you have us perform at your fundraiser, tickets sell like hotcakes.  People love our show and you’ll be sure to sell as many tickets as you need.  In addition, we encourage guests to include a tip with their song request.  Then, we donate these tips back to your organization.  One memorable tip was when someone give us a hundred dollar bill to quit playing I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys and to play Billy Joel’s Piano Man instead.  It was a fundraiser, after all, so we quickly obliged.

It Took Some Encouragement

Towards the end of the night, they were having trouble selling all 52 cards from their deck of cards for the “booze wagon.”  So our performers jumped in with the famous “Cowbell Challenge.” We decided that the loser had to purchase one of the final cards.  And while we were at it, we heavily suggested that the winner buy one too.  It was for charity you know.  All in all, the evening was a huge success.  We spent the night playing fun interactive games with the audience and playing some great country Mount Zion Parks Valentine Fundraiser decormusic and 90’s music requests.  While those two genres seemed to be the most popular, this crew still got down and dirty on the dance floor with Get Low by Lil John & The East Side Boyz.  It was awesome!
