Felix and Fingers LOVE performing at corporate events. The Vernon Hills Park District corporate event was a special fundraising occasion filled with a packed dance floor and lots of fun. In addition to some really awesome donated items there was amazing food. This crowd really knew how to throw a party!
Vernon Hills Park District Corporate Event Fundraiser
To begin with the Vernon Hills Park District really knows how to put on a corporate gig for its staff. Felix and Fingers had a great time performing for a really fun loving group! The Vernon Hills Park District wanted to do something special for a former park district employee and his family. It was sad to hear this employee recently passed away. This corporate event revolved around helping the deceased employee’s family. An amazing fundraiser with awesome prizes were raffled off for charity at the Sullivan Community Center. Furthermore, all of the proceeds from this fundraiser were donated to the former employee’s family.
Our performers for the Vernon Hills Park District corporate event were T. Duncan Parker and Robert Deason. In addition to our dueling piano show, the park district added drums and guitar to our concert. This was a very full-sounding gig! Felix and Fingers are always super happy when we get to perform with a full band. Those are two of our favorite add-on instrumentals. A Very Happy Holiday
Do you love Italian food? The Vernon Hills Park District corporate event went all out with catering from Maggiano’s. In all honesty, this is the best Italian restaurant to serve at your event if you are a fan of Italian cuisine. Moreover, the lasagna was a mile high and left you stuffed for days. If you would like to cater from Maggiano’s please click here. The Vernon Hills Park District had set up this corporate event as more of a concert although it turned into a raging dance party! To start with, our performers didn’t waste any time bringing guests out on the dance floor with songs such as Celebration by Kool and the Gang. It didn’t take long for everyone to fill out requests slips. A party favorite was You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC. Not one guest stayed seated during our performer’s awesome rendition of this song!
Who can resist an extended hour of performance time? The Vernon Hills Park District corporate event was gracious enough to pay us to keep playing that extra hour. Actually, this crowd was a little tame at the beginning but a few songs such as I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas and I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston had the gig out of control!
