It was off to Omaha, Nebraska to play for the Omaha Living Room wedding of Bethany and Sean and we found the venue to be quite the hidden gem. Congratulations to the special couple! We had a great time and hope to soon return.
Omaha Living Room Wedding
The Living Room in downtown Omaha is a unique venue indeed. It has the perfect mix of industrial elements and elegant sophistication. We thought we were entering into an industrial area and venue but when we walked in the door, we were truly blown away by the space. You will find exposed brick walls, timber exposed ceilings, and great lighting with the clerestory windows. You will also find the service to be excellent. They assisted us all evening with great charm. In addition, we noticed how well they were taking care of all of the guests. If you need a venue in downtown Omaha, The Living Room should definitely be on your list of places to check out. You can do so by clicking here.
Classic Rock Ruled the Night
We had a myriad of classic rock requests during the Omaha Living Room Wedding. Of course, we had no problem satiating those requests. We played all kinds of songs from bands such as The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and even The Rossington-Collins Band. The Band’s The Weight put everyone into a friendly, loving mood. Deep Purple’s Smoke On The Water made an appearance as did Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas. An especially touching moment came when we played Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Free Bird as a tribute to the groom’s late father. For sure, there were a few tears over that one.
The groom had told us his family was not much for dancing. Well, we sure surprised him when we played songs that had everyone, and we mean everyone, out on the dance floor. That’s what we do here at Felix and Fingers. We take our commitment to helping you create memories that will last a lifetime very seriously.
It was a great evening at the Omaha Living Room Wedding. In total, a great venue, a loving group of family and friends, and the best wedding entertainment around make for one incredibly special night. Click here to find out more about us. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing you soon.
